Space Center Houston

Check out the Houston Space Center with over more than 400 attractions. Visit the independence plaza, a multi-exhibit complex featuring the historic Boeing 747 shuttle carrier aircraft, take a tour of the NASA Johnson Space Center grounds, or have lunch with a real NASA Astronaut.

OXHEART

Each plate owners Justin Yu and Karen Man creates is thoughtfully composed and brilliantly intense, and as such, their tasting menus have become Houston’s gold standard. This year Justin Yu was awarded Best Chef Southwest by the James Beard Foundation. Sit back, listen to the turntable, and enjoy the relaxing environment. 

PAPPAS BROS. 

The homegrown NY-meets-Texas steakhouse is known for their incredible beef. Pappas Bros, butchers their beef in-house. During 28++ day process they age each cut onsite using wet/dry method concentrates the flavors. Countering their food with a cherry-picked whiskey cart and a stellar wine collector, this restaurant is a must try. 

TONY'S

This old-school fine dining restaurant has been open since 1965. This timeless see-and-be-seen resto from Houston legend Tony Vallone, has hosted the likes of Tony Bennett, Oscar de la Renta, and seven sitting presidents. The dining area is lined with fine-art and has hand-selected wine options. 

Shopping

The Galleria

The Galleria is Texas' largest shopping center and the forth largest nationally. This shopping plaza spans 2.4 million square feet, housing 400 stores and 50 restaurants. Within the Galleria you can also find a full-size ice rink, a state-of-the art children's play area and two swimming pools.
